TABLE OF CONTENTS
Watch my full video review of Blaze for an in-depth walkthrough of its features and my live reactions.
As a website manager and social media enthusiast, I’m always looking for efficient ways to manage multiple platforms and streamline content creation for myself and my clients.
The promise of AI doing the marketing for me, especially for quality blog posts, email marketing, and social media, is a dragon I am always chasing.
I recently tried BLAZE for the first time. (Watch the video above.)
Blaze is an AI-powered social-media posting app, and I’m sharing my unfiltered first impressions here along with a walkthrough of its features.
I am partnered with them but this is my honest first-look take, with the pros and cons.
I recently tried BLAZE for the first time.
INITIAL SETUP & ONBOARDING
Upon signing up for Blaze, I was met with a free 7-day trial. Also nice to see given the usual costs of AI apps.
The drawback: entering a credit card number upfront to start the trial. As I noted in the video, “This is a really big hurdle for me mentally to get by.”
Many apps with similar functions don’t require that immediate commitment.
The onboarding process also felt drawn out, asking several questions about my business type, company size, and marketing experience before granting access to the main features.
Key takeaway: A free trial is welcome, but the upfront credit-card requirement may deter potential users in a competitive market.
THE IMPRESSIVE AI & BRAND KIT FEATURES IN BLAZE
One standout feature is Blaze’s ability to analyze your website and automatically build a brand kit: colors, fonts, voice, and even photos.
As someone who values branding, I loved that it could “go ahead and pull in my brand colors, fonts, and style and everything” automatically.
Highlights
Analyzes your website to create a custom brand kit.
Automatically pulls brand colors, fonts, and images.
Lets you adjust tone and emotions for brand voice.
Saves significant time in keeping brand consistency.
Key takeaway: Automatic brand-kit creation is a powerful way to maintain a cohesive visual identity with minimal effort.
CREATING CONTENT: DESIGN TOOLS & PUBLISHING
Blaze aims to be an all-in-one solution. You can design posts, generate AI images, pull stock photos or GIFs, and then publish directly to multiple platforms.
A “share for review” option lets clients or teammates approve content before it goes live. This feature is a must-have for social media managers and I'm happy to see it.
Highlights
AI-generated posts incorporate your brand kit.
Built-in design tools for fine-tuning.
Direct publishing to several (not all) social-media platforms.
Share-for-review workflow for client approvals.
Key takeaway: As a comprehensive design and publishing tool,
Blaze is especially strong for managers needing fast content creation plus streamlined approval flows.
PLATFORM INTEGRATIONS: WHAT BLAZE HAS & WHAT’S MISSING
Current integrations: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Mailchimp (for email marketing) and WordPress (for blogging). Zapier connector and public API offer further flexibility.
Missing: Pinterest and YouTube. These are critical for many content-repurposing strategies. Their absence is “almost a dealbreaker” for me.
Key takeaway: Solid core integrations, but lacking Pinterest and YouTube can be limiting for website content and video strategies.
UNDERSTANDING BLAZE PRICING & VALUE
Creator Plan – $34/month
One account per platform
30 posts per platform per month
100,000 AI words
*Best Value IMO* Pro Plan – $49/month (trial tier was used in this review)
Three accounts per platform
150 posts per platform per month
Good price point for multiple brands or clients
Annual billing: You can save with annual billing over time but I still recommend starting monthly to test before committing yearly. Use code CATE30 for 30% off your first month.
Key takeaway: The Pro Pricing plan is compelling for managers handling multiple clients; multi-account support adds clear value despite missing platforms.
IS BLAZE RIGHT FOR YOU? MY FINAL VERDICT 👩⚖️
For heavy-duty needs like multi-account management, multi-brand kit cohesion, robust design, and approval workflows, Blaze Pro Plan is excellent.
Casual or content creator users seeking simple cross-posting may find it overkill.
Ideal
Social-media managers running several accounts
Brands with high content volume and a Wordpress website
Teams needing client approvals
Less Ideal
Individuals or creators wanting quick, basic cross-posting only
Key takeaway: Blaze shines as an all-in-one professional solution rather than a lightweight posting tool.
RECAP / CONCLUSION
Powerful AI-driven content creation and brand-kit features
Robust design and direct publishing with approval workflows built in
Attractive pricing for managing multiple brand accounts
Pinterest and YouTube integration lacking for optimal marketing strategies
